Our Loveland CO Janitorial Service Story...
Working out of their home in 1967, Glen and Patti Porter started Porter Industries, Inc. with one contract and a vision. As the fledgling commercial cleaning company grew, the operation was moved to a renovated lumber yard on 4th Street in downtown Loveland, Colorado and remained there until 1997 when Bob and Marilyn Stone purchased the company and erected a new building, made specifically for the operations, at 5202 Granite Street in Loveland. The new facility not only housed office space, a kitchen and training room, but also a warehouse with laundry facilities. Bob Stone, who started with the company in 1970, served as its president from 1980 to 2003 when Steve Hendrickson was promoted to CEO.
In 2012 Porter Industries began its third generation as Ken and Michelle Sargent, long-term Porter employees, purchased Porter Industries from the Stones. The Sargents are respectfully carrying on the company values Porter Industries has been known for since 1967: always being honest, consistently serving their customers, doing what they say they are going to do, and executing a positive can-do attitude for every cleaning shift!
Over the years Porter Industries, Inc. has expanded its primary function of cleaning offices and warehouse space to include cleaning medical facilities, banks, and schools in addition to providing carpet cleaning, construction cleanup and window washing. In 2004, the company added a home cleaning division under the name of
Maid Clean to fulfill a growing demand for the service by surrounding area home owners.
